Charging your electric car in Auderghem
Between Pinoy, Transvaal, Blankedelle and the area around Rouge-Cloître, Auderghem is largely made up of residential neighbourhoods of single-family houses, often with a garage or driveway. This is the simplest set-up for a wall-mounted charger: a dedicated circuit from the fuse box, a few metres of cable and installation in half a day.
Many residents head for the E411 or the city centre every day: a full charge each night easily covers those journeys. In the blocks of flats along the main roads, the question is rather the shared car park and the approval of the co-owners.

The electricity grid in Auderghem
As elsewhere in the Region, many homes in Auderghem are connected to a 3 × 230 V grid rather than 3 × 400 V. On this grid, charging is usually single-phase, up to 7.4 kW, which is enough to charge most cars overnight. Not every charger is compatible: we check your grid connection before advising you. For any change to the connection, your contact is Sibelga, the Brussels distribution system operator.
