Charging your electric car in Evere
Evere combines residential neighbourhoods, such as around Square Hoedemaekers, with business and office areas, notably along Boulevard Léopold III. Companies there often have car parks where installing several chargers is straightforward to organise.
For private homes, houses with garages and recent buildings with an underground car park are common. In new buildings, it is worth checking whether a power supply has already been provided for chargers: this lowers the cost of installation.

The electricity grid in Evere
As elsewhere in the Region, many homes in Evere are connected to a 3 × 230 V grid rather than 3 × 400 V. On this grid, charging is usually single-phase, up to 7.4 kW, which is enough to charge most cars overnight. Not every charger is compatible: we check your grid connection before advising you. For any change to the connection, your contact is Sibelga, the Brussels distribution system operator.
